Personal Development Plan
The ultimate goal I have for my life is to be happy. This milestone, however, can only be accomplished when I have achieved success in the goals I have set for myself along my pursuit of happiness.
The first goal I have set on my path to happiness is to truly embrace my passions. I am passionate about people and fostering meaningful relationships. During my time here at Texas A&M, I want to create lifelong friendships and fully indulge myself in the Aggie family. I am also passionate about achievement. Throughout my life I have always been extremely self-motivated, and my need to succeed drives my hard working personality. Within the next few years I would like to earn a degree from Mays Business School, be accepted into the Professional Program of Accounting, and find a job out of college, which will be challenging yet interesting. All of these individual objectives are derived by my ambition to succeed in my time here at A&M.
In order to fulfill these goals I have set for myself, I must learn and develop as an individual. My top strengths such as adaptability, communication, woo, and maximizer will aid in me in this process. Communication and woo will benefit me in relationship building by allowing me to attract others and win them over with engaging conversation. On the contrary, my strengths of adaptability and maximizer will allow me to make the best of every opportunity here at A&M, and adapt to the unfortunate situations that may arise on my pursuit of success.
Being proactive with the numerous opportunities placed in front of me, and abiding by the well thought out goals I have set for myself will be the key to obtaining life’s perfect balance. I believe that with hard work I will be able to accomplish the criteria needed to become the well-rounded, happy person I aim to be in the years to come.
